Home Project: Walthamstow
A slick modern website with a mid-century take on bold colours and simple typography.
The Home Project is a film-based project in the London Borough of Walthamstow that is looking to create a sense of community and togetherness by creating a series of videos concerning residents and their lives and the question what is home? Through interviews, photoshoots and interactive workshops the client will be engaging with end users directly.
The website needed to be easily accessed, represent a modern and vibrant London borough and reflect through colour, typography and graphical treatments a simple and clean aesthetic that also touches on elements of mid-century functional design such as are evident at The Barbican Centre.

Project Outcome
Phase One
We built this website to work in two phases. The first phase which is currently live is about gathering data from the general public and advertising the free Eventbrite events with embedded ticket ordering.
Phase Two
The second phase will be about showcasing the results, the short films and the visualisations of the data gathered. The website will be used as a touchpoint for residents and stakeholders to get an overview of the entire project from inception to completion.
